Indication
It is used to treat thrombocytopenia (low platelet counts) in chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) in adults/children ≥1 yr, severe aplastic anemia (as a first-line or subsequent therapy), and thrombocytopenia in chronic hepatitis C patients.
